We currently use Pablos Espresso, boasting a floral aroma with dark cherry chocolate notes. The espresso bar is where our diversity shines. We love pouring delicious cortados or cappuccinos, but we also hand craft seasonal drinks, such as the Mexican Spice Mocha with dark chocolate, cinnamon, clove and a hint of cayenne. Don't forget to ask for our homemade espresso infused whip cream!
Drip has three brew methods available each with it's own seasonal roast. Aero Press: Kaladi Roaster's Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, light bodied and sweet, with a jasmine blossom aroma. Drip's Goal is to provide the Denver community with quality Denver roasted coffee. We currently offer coffee from Denver's very own Pablos and Kaladi Roasters. Our baristas create a welcoming atmosphere and pull exquisite espresso shots which they combine with delicious velvety foam. Our espresso is always ground fresh and our milk is never re-steamed. Our goal is to make your coffee a delightful experience that you can look forward to throughout your day.
At Drip it is important that we don't enjoy the wonderful world of coffee at the expense of others. For this reason we ensure that our coffees and teas are fair trade. Our coffee of the day is always a Café Feminino grown coffee, an organization that supports the majority of growers and farmers that are women. Furthermore, Pablos and Kaladi Brothers Coffee are both certified fair trade. At Drip we believe in Social and Environmental Responsibility.
Drip is committed to being a local coffee shop. This means that we use as many local businesses and vendors as possible. The teas, coffees, dairy, and food at Drip are from Colorado and Denver producers. Along with being local, we pursue reducing our waste as much as possible through intentional recycling and composting. Partner with us by bringing your own cup and we will give you a cup discount.
My passion for coffee began at 12 years old when I had my first shot of espresso in West Africa, where the smells of cocoa and coffee were everywhere you went. I love a good Americano and I love Arabic Coffee with a little cardamom added. My favorite part about being manager/barista is being able to foster social and artistic elements through the venue of coffee.
I love the city, the way strangers intermingle, becoming friends even if only for a minute. I love the way auburn hues of crema cling to the inside of a cup, leaving behind a fond memory of morning's excellence. I love what a coffee shop can be, a place to meet and make friends, a place where it's okay to be alone and read a book, a casual workplace, a space to call your own and be known.
